The 250-sheet paper cassette can handle letter-sized documents while the single-sheet multipurpose tray can accommodate such media as transparencies, legal-size documents and letterhead.

For a true multifunction desktop solution you can upgrade to the F-112P, which features both parallel and USB PC connections enabling local PC printing and TWAIN compliant scanning. The F-112P also include SmarThru imaging software.
